Which color actually works best under white clothing? And what should you consider when choosing underwear?
Our mood usually determines our outfit, and therefore also what we wear underneath. There's one main challenge: What color should my underwear be if I want to wear something white? And that's not so easy!
For many, the first thought is probably simply a white bra under a white blouse or T-shirt. But white on white isn't the right answer. Why?
The fabric's density plays a crucial role here. Some white fabrics are much more sheer than others, so a white bra can shine through a white T-shirt. This effect is created by the coverage, because two different shades of white lie on top of each other, creating less transparency. This is frustrating, because if there's one thing we don't want, it's for our white bra to visibly shine through our white blouse in the office.
Because white is problematic, beige tones are usually chosen next, but caution is advised here too. Depending on the sheerness of the white clothing, a bra can be visible. At least not as much as when paired with a white bra. Ultimately, however, this isn't ideal, especially if you don't want your underwear to be visible.
The secret lies in playing with contrasts. Underwear should be matched to your skin tone, as this can make other colors "invisible" under white clothing. Whether plain or fiery like our Scarlet Red, the softer the color is and the more it matches your skin tone, the better it can be worn under a white blouse in the office or a white summer dress for coffee.
Our skin usually has a slight reddish to pinkish undertone, so a red bra can be a better match under white clothing. But be careful, the shade of red should match your main body type; Perhaps a brighter red is more suitable than a darker burgundy, or perhaps a light pink.
Depending on your skin tone, our three royal colors are suitable:Burgundy, Scarlet Red, and Peach Pink.
- Skin types with a slight reddish tinge, which have a cooler tone, can wear red particularly well. The Royal Fit or the Royal Delite in Scarlet Red are suitable for this.- Light skin types can find themselves in coral tones.- Light to medium skin types can wear pink, pink, and cherry tones particularly well, especially as spring and summer approach. The Royal Fit, the Royal Delite, and the Royal Dream in Peach Pink hug your body beautifully.- Darker skin types prefer burgundy and burgundy tones. Here, the Royal Fit creates a wonderful décolleté.
The look is rounded off with seamless underwear, as its seamless finish doesn't even reveal the presence of underwear.
